How do I select a lawyer?
Simply click one of the legal categories found on the GeorgiaLawPages home page and further narrow your selection by county or city. If no lawyers are available for the legal category in the area you selected, other lawyers in the surrounding areas will be listed.
Additionally, a particiapting lawyer has a link that enables you to discreetly post a summary of your case. Just fill out the "submit your case" form on a particular lawyer's profile page. The information you post will be forwarded to that lawyer.

Can I find a lawyer without posting my topic?
Yes, you don't need to post your topic or summary of your case online. You can discreetly contact participating lawyers through their secure listing pages or directly call the lawyers returned from your search.
|
|
| |
Are the listed lawyers pre-screened?
Listed lawyers are required to comply with the rules of professional conduct and be bar certified. We make every effort to check a lawyer's bar qualification at the time the lawyer decides to participate. We nevertheless encourage visitors to perform their due diligence during the process of hiring a lawyer. Ask plenty of questions, check for references and check with the State Bar of Georgia for a lawyer's current standing.

Can I post a review on the lawyer that I hire?
Not at the present time. GeorgiaLawPages is developing a rating method to enable clients to post a review of their experiences with a contracted lawyer. However, feedback to the web site is highly encouraged. Please contact us at admin@georgialawpages.com

Is this service free for me?
We offer both a premium membership and a basic membership. The premium membership is for lawyers that want a greater exposure to increase their business prospects. The most important difference is the ability of prospective clients to send a message to you based on a review of your unique profile page. Certain lawyers will be periodically featured on the home page. The basic membership allows you to list for free. It includes your basic business information linked to your areas of practice.

|
| |
How do I join and advertise my services?
Click on the "sign up" or "join" links located on the home page. From there you will be able to sign up for a promotional free 90 day premium membership.
|
|
| |
How do I respond to a prospective client who has contacted me about a case?
Premium members will be able to discretely and directly respond to case leads which would be directly sent to you through a posting form. If the prospective client leaves a phone number, you will have access to it after you respond to their question.

| |
What is the difference between a premium and basic membership?
The Basic membership is a free membership that offers a general listing of a lawyer's profile and firm information linked to that lawyer's area of practice.
The Premium membership offers a competitive advantage; you will have a unique GeorgiaLawPages page and you have the ability to link your firm's website. You are listed first on the public's search pages and you have the ability to have prospective clients forward you a case summary. Please contact admin@georgialawpages.com for additional information.

|
| |
Do I need to cancel my Premium membership or will it just expire?
If you signed up for a monthly subscription then you will be billed monthly until you cancel your membership. You can cancel your membership by logging into your account and clicking the "cancel subscription" option. If you have any problems, please send an email to admin@georgialawpages.com and we will cancel it for you. If you paid for your profile in advance, your profile will simply expire and you will be listed as a basic member. You can upgrade your profile anytime by logging into your account and signing up for a premium membership.
